Calculators
Convert between currencies with rates you enter — no network calls, fully offline.
Your money data never leaves this device
Every calculation, statement, and ledger stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and exports are encrypted on-device.
Rates are entered by you — this tool makes no network calls. For live rates, use the opt-in “Live FX rates” tool.

How to currency converter
- Set the pair. Choose the from and to currencies.
- Enter the rate. Type the exchange rate you want to use.
- Convert. Enter an amount to see the converted value.
Most currency converters phone a rate API on every keystroke, which is fine for a quick check but means your activity is logged elsewhere. Using rates you enter keeps the conversion entirely local — handy for budgeting, invoicing, or working offline.
When you do want current market rates, the opt-in Live FX rates tool fetches them explicitly. For a reference of currency codes, see the ISO 4217 list.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the rates come from?
You supply them, which keeps the tool fully offline and private. If you'd rather fetch current rates automatically, the separate Live FX rates tool does that with your explicit opt-in.
Can I convert several amounts?
Yes — once the rate is set, convert as many amounts as you like without any network calls.
Is anything uploaded?
No. With manual rates the tool never contacts a server, so your amounts and currencies stay on your device.
