How to image upscaler
- Add the image. Drop the picture you want to enlarge onto the tool or browse for it.
- Run the upscaler. The super-resolution model processes the image on your device; weights cache after the first run.
- Compare the result. Check the enlarged output against the original for sharpness.
- Download. Save the higher-resolution image to your device.
Upscaling rescues images that are too small for the job — a thumbnail you need at print size, an old photo, a logo that only exists at low resolution. Because the model runs on-device, even confidential or unpublished images stay with you.
Unlike a simple resize, super-resolution reconstructs plausible detail, so text edges and textures hold up rather than turning to mush. The cleaner the input, the more convincing the result; extreme compression or blur caps what can be recovered.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from just resizing?
Plain resizing stretches existing pixels and looks soft. The upscaler predicts new detail, so edges and textures stay crisper at the larger size.
How much larger can it go?
Around 2x each dimension (four times the pixels). Run it again for more, though results depend on the source quality.
What images work best?
Reasonably clean sources upscale best. Heavily compressed or very blurry inputs limit how much real detail can be recovered.
Is my image uploaded for upscaling?
No. The model runs locally in your browser; the picture is not sent anywhere.
