How to straighten a tilted scan
- Add pages. Bring in scanned or imported pages.
- Detect skew. The tilt angle is measured automatically.
- Straighten. Each page is rotated upright, content preserved.
- Continue. Move on to filters or build the final PDF.
Even a careful scan comes out a degree or two off, and a whole document of slightly crooked pages looks sloppy and reads worse. Deskew fixes that by measuring the tilt from the page's own lines of text and rotating each page back to level.
Because it works from content orientation, it handles the small, annoying angles that are hard to eyeball, and it does so without trimming your margins.

How is the skew angle detected?
The tool analyzes the dominant text and line orientation to estimate how far the page is rotated, then counter-rotates it to horizontal.
Does straightening cut off the edges?
No. It rotates within the canvas so text near the margins isn't clipped; the page is squared up with its content intact.
Can I deskew a whole multi-page scan?
Yes — every page in the session is straightened, so a batch of slightly crooked captures comes out consistently upright.
Is anything sent to a server to deskew?
No. The rotation is computed and applied locally in your browser, so the pages remain on your device.
