Blur faces, license plates, addresses, or any sensitive area by drawing rectangles on the preview, then apply the same regions across a batch. The blur is burned in on your device, so nothing is uploaded.

Before sharing a photo publicly, you often need to hide someone's face, a license plate, or an address in the background. Drawing blur regions and burning them in makes those areas genuinely unreadable, not just covered.

Because the same regions apply to a batch, redacting a set of similar images (say, frames from the same scene) is quick. For document scans use Scrub & redact, and to strip location metadata use Remove EXIF.

### How do I blur a face in a photo?

Draw a rectangle over the face on the preview; the area is blurred and the effect is baked into the exported image so it can't be undone.

### Is the blur permanent?

Yes. The blur is rendered into the pixels on export, so unlike an overlay it can't be peeled back to reveal what was underneath.

### Are my photos uploaded to blur them?

No. Blurring happens on a canvas in your browser, which is what makes it safe for sensitive images.
